How to use

Vinyl plank (LVP) is sold by the box. Enter the area and plank width, and the calculator returns planks and boxes with a 10% waste margin. A 7-inch × 48-inch plank covers about 2.3 ft².

FAQ

Why does vinyl come in boxes not tiles?

LVP is a continuous plank product; boxes are the standard retail unit, so the calculator reports whole boxes.

Can I use this for sheet vinyl?

No — sheet vinyl is sold by the linear foot or roll. This tool is for click-lock planks.

What waste for vinyl?

10% standard; add more for rooms with many doorways or angles.
